Dr. Cynthia Branson is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics. She is from a small farming town called Galesburg, Illinois. As a young adult she worked under the supervision of her father Dr. John Maddrell and Dr. Charles Bordon who are diplomats of the American Board of Orthodontists.
She attended Illinois Wesleyan University and was inducted into both Tri Beta and Alpha Lambda Delta which are scholastic honoraries. She was accepted into Northwestern's dental and later orthodontic programs. She opened her private orthodontic office in 1988 in Princeton, West Virginia.
Dr. Branson stays current with orthodontics through continuing education and professional organizations. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and New River Dental Society. She is one of two female orthodontists in the state of West Virginia.
She is married to Dr. Philip Branson, an orthopedic surgeon, and has three children. She enjoys all outdoor and most indoor sports. When not spending time with her family she is active with youth and community services.
